Cards #17-20 2009

This is a card that i made for a swap. It is for Feminine Birthday spot. It is from a LO that i found in the Card Creations magazine. I changed it a little and only used 2 hearts. Also, I used part of an idea from another card. There are 2 embossed lines at the bottom, below the words. It is simple and sweet looking!!

Jan 09 LO #25-26

This is a 2 pg LO that i did this morning for my dd's scrapbook club. I did not know that in making kits for the scrapbook club kids, i was supposed to make a sample. This sample will be put in an album and auctioned off at the end of the year!! How neat is that?!?!

Cards #11-16 2009

Well, I had a swap spot that said, make anything with an owl. I just could not decide what to do, till i came across this stamp set. It is from Inkadinkadoos. I really like how it came out, so i made a couple extra!!

Photo Organization

This is all my older photos in boxes in a little cabinet that i have my cricut on top of. It is close but out of sight.
These are the most recent photos i have printed to work on. They are in a photo box in little plastic sleeves. I bought 200 of these sleeves i think when i got them. I put the photos in with a little sticker on front with event, date and people. It is great to just grab a little sleeve and go with the LO's!!

Oraganization of embellishments

This is my basket of Challenge embellishments. They are things i really like, but have no theme!! Every once in a while, i will pull one out and start a LO with it! It is a great way to use these things up!
This is also embellishments that have no theme. I have a peg board so i can see them easily. I have rubons, alpha brads, alpha metal, flourishes, stickers and bling on here. Oh yea, also journal pages that are in little notebooks.
This is all my embellishments that have a theme. I have a box for each theme that i have stuff for. I still need to get a few more labels printed for these. I have found this system to work the best for me so far!! Great when i know the them of what i am doing, just grab a box and go!!

Cards #2-6 2009

This is a set of cards that i did for a swap. I made 5 of them, 4 for the swap and 1 for an exchange that i need to get sent out. I found the layout for it in Card Creations Magazine. The paper is Bazzill and the ink is CTMH and Anitas Art.

Tools Organization

These are how my main tools are set up on my desk. They are all within arms reach of where i sit. The top pic is an 8.5x11 drawer system that holds all my pens, markers, stickles and pearlex. The second is a letter holder that holds my adhesives, some paints and in the back, lace and ricrac that i have not found another place for yet! The last picture is my Pampered Chef caddy with my hand punches, my glue pens, my scissors and other items.

Jan 09 LO #18-22

These are the rest of the LO's of other dd's scout outing! I did them very close as most pictures were the same or similar. Makes them go a lot quicker!!!

Jan 09 LO #16-17

These 2 LO's are for friends of my girls. The parents do not take pictures, so i thought i would make an album of pics that i take of events that they are at too.

Jan 09 LO #9-15

These are LO's of my daughters Girl Scout Brownie Outdoor Day. I used the K&Co Girl Scout paper and stuff. I love these pages and they were very easy. I am now working on the same or similar pictures for my other dd that was there too.

15 down, more to go!!

Paper organization...

These are my mat stacks and small pads of paper. This little bin sits under my table in arms reach.
This is my non-Bazzill cardstock that is 8.5x11 or smaller. It is in a drawer in my filing cabinet that is part of a desk behind my scrap area. These are set up by color.
This is my Bazzill that is any size and non-bazzill that is 12x12. This is a file box that i have sitting under the desk behind me. I am finding now that i moved it here, i am using it a lot more. I also too all the 8.5x5.5 Bazzill out of the packaging and am using it a ton more!! These are by color also.
This is my 12x12 pattern paper that is set up my theme. I have Christmas, Snow/winter, Girls, Boys, Halloween, Easter/spring, Summer, sports, school, girl scouts and such.
These hold my DCWV stacks that i have taken out of the stacks. 1 is Christmas, another is misc and the 3rd holds the little folders by manufacturer of things that do not have themes.
This is my favorite spot. These are my scraps. I have them by color in shoe box size storage containers!! It is great to have them like this. My kids even use these with ease. Anything, patterned or cardstock goes in these. If it is small enough to fit and is not specifically a smaller size such as 6x6 or 8x8, it goes in!!

Jan 09 LO #5-6

This is LO's 5-6 of the year!! Yeah!! These are my girls. It is summer 2003. I also did this for a challenge. It was white background and only 2 other colors. So my colors are black and dk red. I loved these pictures. I really need to have some recent ones done of them.

Card #1 - 2009

This is my 1st card for the year!! It is for a challenge. The challenge was use blue or use a button. I chose to use both. I really like how it came out. Simple but nice. The dots on the ribbon are actually blue, though they show up almost silver in the photo.

Jan 09 LO's #1-4

Why oh Why can my pictures not be all upright?!?! Well, here are my 1st LO's of the year!! I am working on LO's of Abby's professional pictures. I had not done most of them yet!!

The top pic is one i did and the elements are e-cuts that i embellished with stickles!

Help on my mat color!

Check out the colors under the pics. Do you like the blue or the green. They are both deeper colors in person, as is the background color. Thanks for the help!!

They have some of the cutest stamps i have seen in a long time!!

They are also giving away some blog candy!!

Organization Challenge--AFTER, table

WOW, look how much table top i have to work on!! I can not believe it is done!! Now to keep it this way when i am done each time!!!

This is directly in front of me as i face the table. I now have my cuttlebug and a basket with the folders/dies behind it. It is just a tiny bit too tall to slide under the shelf. To the left of that are LO's in the works in a NICE pile and then my notebooks with sketches, challenges and such.

This is the spot where i had all the extra stuff sitting! Now i can actually use my Cricut!! I also moved it back on the table to have more space in front of it.
