This is for a challenge...we had to pick a few things...Color, I picked blue/brown...Embellishments, I picked Ribbon, ribbon slide and buttons, but shoot, I need to go back....I need to pick some more...
Pick just one of these to use on your LO:1. Stamps2. Embossing3. Glitter4. Ink5. Paint6. Paper tearing....Now what to do...will put in an update photo!!

Speed scrapping, May09 LO #18-19

Okay, these are my 2 LO's. i guess i just can not do 1 at a time!!

1. choose 3 photos

2. choose 1 stripe, 1 dotted papers

3. crop 2 photos 3x3 or less

4. mat 1 photo

5. frame another photo with embellishment

6. Use a tag with string

7. put it all together

May09 Cards #21-34

This is a card i got in a swap...It was just paper taped on the front and a stamp inside. I decided to add to it. I think it turned out cute!

I made 5 of these cards for a swap. It was a take on a card that was in Card Creations magazine.

These are all versions on the cards that i made for a swap. I did the one on the other post for the 1st 4 cards, made a stamping mistake and covered with the little paper with Happy birthday on it and liked it better! There are actually 6 of these cards, but a couple are the same, thus not posted here.

may 09 Card #10-12

These are cards that i made with stamped images from a swap that i did and die cuts from another swap. I took the LO's for the 1st and 3rd from Christina at http://www.wernstrumfamily.blogspot.com/ She used sketches from other blogs. I adjusted them some to fit what i had.

May 09 LO#15-17

This is a page made with a kit from a friend. I believe this is years that i have had it and am finally using it!!

This is a page made with an element that was made for me in 2006!! I am finally using this stuff. Thanks Marlene. It worked out great.

This is a LO also made with an OLD kit that was made for me years ago!! I can not remember who made it though! I love how it turned out. I am so glad to have these...it really speeds up my scrapping!!

May 09 LO#14

This is a LO for a Challenge on Scrappingswappingaddicts! It is a dots and circle challenge. You also had to use a made paper piecing. I got this paper piecing from the same group. I just can not remember who made it now!! I love this new stamps set i got from Karrilee! Thanks!! It is Stampin Up Seeing Spots! What a perfect one for this LO!!I am liking these challenges and simpler LO's for a change!!

Garage sale find

This is a drawer unit i got today. I decided to put it under my desk for all the stuff that sits under there anyways. It has all my small pads of paper that do not have a theme or match other stuff. It also has my CTMH stamps and large pkgs of clear stamps. I am very happy with it!!

Okay, so i made a couple more of these. What do you think? Be honest! I am not sure about the pink one. The middle one is the 1st one i made with a little added to it.

I may make something else for my swap!!

May09 Card #5-6

These are 2 cards i made a couple days ago. The flower and leaf and the little stamped words and flower tag were from a die cut swap. I like how they turned out.

I took the idea for the blue card from a friend, Cherie. Thanks for helping me figure out what to do with these!!

May09 LO #13

This is a LO that i made with the squares that i got in a swap probably 4-6 yrs ago!! I have always loved them, but kept waiting to use them. With a group i am on encouraging us to use what we have, I decided it was time!!

These are 2 Layouts for a Challenge. It was to use a page kit that you had or recieved in a swap. I went back a little further. This is a page kit that Karlene made for me in May 2006!!! I have always wanted to use it, but never found the right stuff! These are pictures of dd's brownin troop doing their pinning ceremony. this is going from Daisy's to brownies. I thought this would work well.

My cards for today May09 #1-4

These 3 cards are made from a swap on Sparkpeople. We did a Spring Cricut die cut swap. I love how they came out and the ladies did a great job with embellishing and embellishments!

This card is from a stamped image swap. We also got 6x6 paper from the person too. On this card i ended up using 2 of the papers for it. Such a cute stamp. This swap was on a yahoo group that i am on for cards and more!

Another Paper Piecing...

This is a butterfly made from scraps. I decided after someone did a LO with black and white butterflies to try some. I like how this came out. What do you think??

Darn, why does the pic look right when i choose it and then it is sideways when i post it?!!? Oh well. LOL!!

Speed Scrappin and Chattin LO#6-7

Here are the steps for these 2 lO's that we did on the speed scrap!

1. Pick 3-6 papers, 1 for the background

2. Choose 1 picture and frame/mat it

3. Cut 2+ strips of paper and put behind matted photo

4. adhere matted picture to LO with adhesive, staple, or other way

5. add 2 buttons and 3 other(different) embellishments

6. add a 2-3 word title

7. add the date on the photo frame/mat

The above lo's are what i came up with! Enjoy.
