This is a layout for SYAO challenge. Unfortunately i was late in uploading, but i like it no matter what. The paper is Bo Bunny Kitchen Spice. It is great paper that i have had for 2+ years. The challenge was a sketch, then i had to use 4 different items and 1 technique. I used 3+ flowers, 3+ buttons, staples, twine and used stamping on it!

I planned on making the mailbox and the envelope. I liked them, BUT i then saw the hearts and thought i would make one. I love how it came out, even more than the other 2!! LOL! Anyways...everyone got 1 of each!!

I used misc paper that i had on hand in an attempt to use what i have!! Good idea. Stickles on the heart(black) and on the mailbox flag. The heart is stamped with a heart from the Close to my Heart stamp set called A Game(it is tic tac toe game) and the word Love from January's Stamp of the Month.

Layout #11 - This is a Layout of Alivia from the American Girl Fashion Show. She wore Josephina's nightgown for it. The 2 pieces that are stamped on are A-Door-ables from Close to my Heart. These are great to hide the journaling! The paper is CTMH, as is the ribbon, stamps and ink!

This is a layout i did the other day for a speed scrap on Stuff to Scrap. I learned how to do the coloring on the pic like this!! AND i was helped to remember how to recolor something. The stitching was originally green!! WOOHOO!! I am so excited!

These are from a trip to my Dad's family's farms. I am so excited...I passed 100 LO's only 2oo to do in the 2nd half of the year!! LOL!! We will see!

Abby's 1st dance class. Tear bear made by a friend of mine. She is so talented!! I added the little flower and how cute it made her look!!

These were little frogs that grew in the rain water in a deflated blow-up pool. There were tons of them running around the backyard. The girls had made these bug boxes and put them in it. When i saw this paper, I knew it was perfect for these pictures!!

LOL!! This is from when i was pumping breast milk because Micah could not nurse. I was eating a lot of spinach dip and did not realize that it would do this!! Green Milk!!

This is another one where I did the title with different things. I had this die cut that said girl. I then stamped the word Pretty.

Pics of Micah. I love this paper. it is double sided and I only had this 1 design. I love this color combination too for boys!!

Upward cheerleading!! What fun they had. I used cricut to cut the pom poms and megaphones for the pages.

Another Stuff to Scrap Speed scrap. I love it!!

6x6 recipe swap. I bought this kit just for this LO! I love the colors. I think i will be using it on some of my girls stuff too!

Explosion Box Album

These are not complete instructions as i need to get some measurments that i do not have on hand, Will have it complete on Friday.

4 sheets of cardstock, 12x12, 11x11, 10x10, 8x8. The 12x12 and 8x8 should be same for outside of box, the other 2 can be same or just matching.

Score the 12x12 at 4" and 8" in both directions, 11x11 at 3 3/4" from all sides, 10x10 at 3 1/2 from all sides.

Score the 8x8 at 2" in all directions and diagonals at the corners.

Cut the corners out of the 12x12, 11x11 and 10x10.

You may round the corners on the t shaped papers. You may also leave them pointed depending on your taste.

Adhere all 3 layers in the center only.

Fold the 8x8 into the lid of the box. Fold the corners in to the center. Apply glue and use paper clips to hold while glue is drying

Add pattern paper to all layers. The measurments are 3x 2 1/2 for the top layer, 3x3 1/4 for middle layer, and 3 1/2x 3 1/2 for bottom layer. center square is 2 1/2x 2 1/2.

Upclose of the layers.

Upclose of bottom layer.

Add Pattern paper to the outside of the 4 flaps. The measurments for this are also 3 1/2x 3 1/2.

Add Pattern paper to the outside of the lid. The measurements are 1 1/2 x 3 1/2.

I added cardstock and then pattern paper to the top of the lid. The cardstock is 3 3/4x 3 3/4. the pattern paper is 3 1/2x 3 1/2.

At this point, you can add embellishments, you can also add ribbon-attaching it to the bottom and tie over the top to use as a closure.

This was done with a LO from IMAGINE idea book. the paper is Caboodle, the stamp sets are Field trip Alpha and Fun Times. The ink color is Crystal Blue.

365 Cards, 3G's Challenge

Here is my version of this challenge. It was 3 G's... Green, glitter, grosgrain. The paper is 3 shades of green Bazzill cardstock. 2 ribbons are misc white grosgrain ribbon, the brown is CTMH grosgrain. The pattern paper is from CTMH Veranda line. the Stamp is House Mouse designs Dragon-flying (friends). There is CTMH liquid glass and glitter on the wings of the dragonfly. I love how this turned out. Now to find a person to send it to!!

Looking into my sewing area. DH found a cabinet that i want above the desk to hold sewing supplies, such as thread and other small items.

I have gotten 3 of the 4 walls painted so far. I will be trying to get a lot of the last one done tomorrow, friday. i am loving the color. Look up there to the left of my desk....DH gave me the tv that he got for Christmas. He decided that it was not used enough in our bedroom and put it there for me as a surprise!! WWOOHOO!! He is also going to get me a cord to hook my computer to my tv!!

This is on the other side of my work table. i have my paper racks, the wood drawers and 1 plastic drawer is stamps. my ribbon jars are on top of the wood drawers for now.

Three of my shelving units that will hold my supplies. the wood cabinet is going to be sold or given away.

My sewing desk corner. things on the white cabinets will be moved to another place.

This is the start of the LO's for Feb Scrapbook Club at dd's school. Both pages are made the same. It is a take on Timeline LO from Imagine idea book from Close to my Heart. I love how it looks so far. I can not wait for the kids to do a LO with it. Too bad none of them will do anything like this! The paper is Aspen, the stamps are Holiday Trinkets and the ink colors are Outdoor Denim and Twilight.

This is a 2 pg LO for Scrapbook club. We work on a very limited budget. I have about $40 to
spend on 18 2page LO's each month. I was working on the wrong LO's this month and realized i was supposed to be doing Christmas and not winter. SOOOO, I could not find Christmas paper at the store. I went with Cardstock and did some stamping and hoped it came out good. I love these stamps sets from Close to My heart. They are Holiday Trinkets and Holiday Warmth.

Ok, this LO need the shadows in it. I forgot. These 1st 3 LO's are of our trip to Hershey and the dinner show, Christmas in Chocolate Town. The dessert above was incredible, the green was mint mousse and the nutcracker was edible chocolate!!

Micah was intrigued by the set and had to go look at it all!

These are some of the cards from a 51 card workshop. the stamps i used were For Every Occassion, Fringed phrases and butterfly kiss. I used Chocolate and Twilight inks. The paper is Bazzill cardstock and can not remember the paper.

I needed to make something for a swap that was Thanksgiving or Christmas themed. I had such a hard time finding something. I looked at all the stuff i had to alter and decided on these. I really like how they came out. The leaf stamps are OLD Close to My Heart Stamps. They are actually wood stamps. The colors are autumn terrecotta and Pansy Purple. The saying is an irish blessing. I thought that was appropriate for Thanksgiving. Hope the 2 ladies like these!!

4. Make 1 item to send to CTMH contest!
5. Clean up my scrap area, including vaccuuming!

This is a neat card i found online. It is a Diamond Fold card. It is super easy and comes out nice.

OOPS! This is a calendar planner that i made and will be doing a workshop on!! I will be using other paper though.

This is the card we made at my party. I used Christmas paper, but it was not a Christmasy card. Everyone liked it.

This is a diamond fold card using Close to my Heart Moon Doggie paper and Tropical Christmas stamp.

This is a LO using a page kit that a friend made for me. I was having a hard time with these pics, so she did it for a PIF. She did a great job. There was a lot more to the kit, but was not needed this time. Will use it on another LO eventually!!

This is a Digi page i did last night for a speed scrap on Stuff to Scrap. I am really happy with how it turned out!! Most of what i used was from Gotta Pixel's July kit from 2009. The #4and th were from another set, but not sure right now. Forgot to write it down. Let me know if you want to know and i will check!!

This is for a swap on SSA. Can you tell i really like my Owls?!?! This is the "You're A Hoot" set from Close to My Heart. The paper is actually from Target $1 section. The card stock is Bazzill. Ink is also CTMH. I am so happy with these. Hope the people gettting them are too!!

Here are my goals...hope i do better this month!!!

1. 40 Lo's...would like to catch up and get ahead OOPS, NO paper, 12 Digi

2. 15 cards 29 cards done

3. Clean out my paper for real!! nope, not happening again!!

4. Have another successful CTMH party!! and book 2 for Oct I had my party and it went great. Also had a catalog party and it went great. I have 1 party and catalog party for Oct.

5. make 1 new project that is not a card or LO! I made a calendar planner, it was easy but nice

6. Start working on my Christmas cards!!! Nope, none made...maybe in Oct!

1. pick 1 picture

2. 5 papers, 1 of which is pattern for background

3. cut other 4 into strips, 2 thin, 2 thicker

4. place behind photo

5. add ribbon, staples, tag and button

6. add title

7. add date and journaling

This is a pail and candies i did for the party. I decided after i did the candy to hand out when they gave me their info, that i needed something to hold it in. SO, this is what i came up with. The ladies loved the candy and the stamped wrappers!

The 2 top cards are ones that i made for my party. The top one i gave to my hostess for a gift! I love the 2nd one with the owl! I am happy how it came out.

This is a card that i made for a challenge on stamp ohio yahoo group. It was to use 5 die cuts, 3 embellishments, ribbon and cardstock. Love how it came out. It will be used for one of my kids teachers this year!!

Last card i made, I forgot to get a picture of. It was the one that i had prepared for the ladies to make at the party. I gave this to the hostess also!! again, i used the owl stamp!

CTMH gathering and gifts!!

Last week i decided to start selling CTMH stamps and supplies. I did not realize that my 1st party would come so soon. I have it on Aug 18th. NEXT WEEK!! Anyways, I have been trying to get stuff together to give away.

This bagalope is for the gift for my hostess!! It is made with Animal Crackers paper and white ribbon from CTMH! I am going to put a little gift in it for her!

These are post it note holders. made with CTMH paper and stamps. They turned out really cute!! I am going to put my name and # and email inside for them to remember me by. This will go to people that book a party! I hope they like them too!!

July Goals revisited

Here is what my plans WERE for July...

1. Get my swap pages done and in the mail DONE and MAILED

2. Get caught up on my LO's to finish my yearly goal...I need to do at least 32 this month...If i do 56, then i will only need to do 25 a month the rest of the year. If i do the 32, then i will need to do 32 each month instead. 28 LO's

3. I would like to do 20 cards this month, for swaps and myself. 39 cards!!

4. I would love to completely clean up my space and find EVERYTHING a home!! well, it was cleaned a mostly at 1 point, but not anymore!! LOL!

5. Order more pictures from Walgreens, even if i have to load them on my card and do it at the store!! NOPE, NONE ORDERED!

6. Start my 1st Digital scrapbook. It will be of my retreat!! NOPE, not even opened PSE7

well, try again this month!! LOL! it is already the 13th!!

I fell going done the step in front of my house...and BROKE MY NOSE!! There is a band-aid over a nice cut on my nose too. No stitches at least. There is also a nice cut inside my lower lip that luckily did not need stitches! So much for taking the girls out tonight!!
